Life on campus...
Students thrive at Prince of Peace! Each day starts with prayer and pledges to both the American and Christian flags. Since classes are small, comradery is present between all ages and grades, there are frequent interactions and activities between groups. The classrooms are colorful and interactive, teachers are expert at combining and adapting to individual and group needs.
Most required academic studies are completed in the morning before lunch, leaving the afternoons for extra-curricular activities and enrichment programs. Our smaller-sized classes allow great flexibility to cover current events, points of interest and the opportunity to take frequent field trips.
Religion, Bible study, prayer and song are a big part of our time together. All students attend a weekly chapel service where classes take turns leading worship, prayer and song. Christian principles, Bible stories and Biblical history are integrated in all that we do.
We host regular programs of song and drama each year, and often participate in seasonal presentations at the church.
Besides the serious stuff, we like to have fun as well! There is lots of opportunity to laugh, play, and be silly on the playground or in the classroom with friends, volunteers and teachers alike.
